The Tubular daylighting device is placed into a roof and allows light to a focused area of the interiors. T  They do not allow as much heat transfer as skylights because they have less surface area.
It is a modern technology to transmit visible light through walls and roofs. The tube itself is a positive component consisting of   reflective interior coating or sheet. It is with a capped transparent dome roof-mounted  "light collector" and terminates with a diffuser assembly that admits the daylight into interior spaces and distributes the available light energy evenly and efficiently.
